Need to Block Access to “Settings”
-
Hi,
I use the aMember membership script to control my WordPress (WP) site. With this solution the user’s password and email can’t be changed from the WP side (they change it via an aMember widget).
With my standard WP install I just block them from the WP backend and they don’t have a way to change this information. However, with BuddyPress (BP) there are at least two links to the “Settings” page which allows the user to change their email and password from the WP side.
So. How would be the best way to block access to the settings page in BP? Would it require modification to files. Could these links be filtered out with some code in functions.php file?
Thanks in advance for any help or ideas on this!
