Setting up two different user levels with different profile options

Hi I would like to set up an option to choose if you register as user level 1 or 2 with more infomation on the profile on the level 2
How would I go about offering different user levels?

If it helps one user level is a student with study needs and one is a tutor and needs to post a CV
