[Resolved] No Forums After New Installation

    I’m sure I’m missing some obvious step here, but I am trying to install BuddyPress 1.6.1 on a new installation of WordPress 3.4.2. I went through all the steps and installed site wide forums (I didn’t install group forums). I see a forums/topics/replies section in my dashboard and a number of pages were created including a forums page. But going to the forums page gives me a “The forums component has not been set up yet.” So what am I missing?

    In the forums page did you add this short code

    `[bbp-forum-index]`

    Also, go to permalinks choose another option hit save and then choose your previous permalink setting. This just resets the permalinks.
