No ‘create’ new member option login widget

    I’ve just installed buddypress on a local setup as I’m building a website. I’m playing around with the default buddypress theme while I get the hang of it. It’s all working okay but I can’t see how a new member can join the website. The login widget does not have a ‘create new member option’.

    All it has is username, password and remember me tick box? Apologies if this is a stupid question that has already been covered.

    The default theme with BuddyPress doesn’t have a log in widget. If you’re not using a different theme and you’re referring to the sidebar area, that’s hardcoded into the template. In this case, some extra text with a register link will appear as long as user registrations are enabled on your site.
