Line breaks in profile fields descriptions

    I need to include some line breaks in my profile descriptions, but it appears any HTML included in the descriptions get stripped out. I also tried a carriage return (n), but that just printed an “n” in those spots. Is it possible to get line breaks in there?

    To be clear, I’m talking about the profile field descriptions, not the field data itself.

    Are you using the “Multi-line Text Box” or “Text Box” field? The “Multi-line Text Box” supports line breaks.

    I’m using the multi line text box, but in the front end, line breaks don’t work.

    Any ideas what could be wrong?

    please don’t jump in old topics. Even if it seems to you to have the same issue, the topic was started almost two years back.

    Open a new topic and indicate your bp version, theme name, used plugins and recently modifications (functions or bp-custom.php). Thank you.
