    @venutius

    I decided that your site may be potential spam

    Thanks venutius for removing all potential spam from this forum, it’s appreciated.

    The question was regarding: why are forums not showing on my Buddypress site?

    My reply: Buddypress does not include forum functionality by default.
    Usually this can be added via another plugin eg. bbpress.

    Find the bbpress plugin on the WordPress plugins website.

    Install it, that should solve your issue.

    Ok thanks – just out of interest and to avoid such impressions in future – what was it that made you think it might be spam?

    I was uncertain of an organisation that speaks of charity yet has posts relating to bitcoin, and no real information about their charitable work, without, presumably, joining the site.

    I don’t want to overload the home page with too much info so there is an About page and also a Volunteers page. One project we support is in a linked post. We only have 2 projects and at the moment it’s very much in beta. But for sure it’s absolutely impossible to do peer-to=peer charity with banker money. I tried, I set up a registered non-profit and it was educational for me (to be polite!). That’s why it’s bitcoin only. Bear in mind that the biggest and most evil scammers on the planet use banker money! Bitcoin is neutral.

    I appreciate your insight though and hopefully as we get through the beta phase it will become more clear. I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks.

    Hi I have added a “more info” link to the about page next to the “start now” button and this will be more prominent than the one in the top menu bar. I can see how a quick look at the site might not be enough to find more info and most people will only give it a short view anyway so that’s an improvement. Thanks
