I’ve just intatalled Buddypress on an existing WordPress MU site. If I navigate to the default blog folder http://www.domain.com/blogs/ I see the following error:

To enable the blog directory you must drop the “plugin-template.php” file into your theme directory.

Which themes “plugin-template.php” file should I copy here, I tried this but if doesnt resolve the problem.

    Any ideas anyone.

  • If you are not using the “buddypress-home” theme, it requires that you drop in some of the files that are in that theme to display each plugin. I don’t know off the top of my head which ones exactly, but maybe look at the buddypress-home theme and that might help. Once I get in a position to look myself, I might post back later.

I want to use the “buddypress-home” theme, how should I enable it? I have it installed in my wp-content/themes/ directory.

Dont know if this is relavent but, my WP MU is installed in a folder off the system root called /blogs/ so a users blog would be in the form http://domain/blogs/user/ and not the more usual http://user.domain format. Also having issues with Blogs tab which says Blog not found whereas it is there if you navigate to the url directly?
