it seems that the caching is different from sitewide-activity, my own and the activity of my friends. Could that be or is it a bug on my install.

The first two activities are always up-to-date (within seconds, minutes). But the friends-activity updates only from time to time (a couple hours).

I saw in the source-code something like caching every 6 hours. But this seems only to be true for the friends-activity. What can I do to speed that up? Change that value? Would there be any loss?
