Replace buddypress logo with text (member theme)

I’m using two different themes: one for my home theme and another for my member theme. I’d like to replace the logo for the member theme with the logo from the home theme.
The challenge is that my home theme’s “logo” is actually text, so I’d like to replace the member theme’s logo with text.
Also, if you know the code for how to pull in the blog title and tagline for use instead of the logo, I’d appreciate it.
Anyone know how to do this?
