My Account Links not showing

    I am having an issue that I cant pinpoint the cause. Sometime the links under my account show, sometimes they dont. They are typically always showing when I am in the dashboard, but when I am on the main site or in the members area the links dont show. I havent made any changes to the core files other than a date change.

    I should also say that the only drop down that shows under My Account is the log out, and the other 2 drop downs work with no problem.

    Any suggestions?

    Some initial questions:

    1. Which versions of WPMU and BuddyPress are you running?

    2. Have you enabled all of BuddyPress’ components?

    3. Where did you install the suite of BuddyPress components?

    4. Are you using custom themes of the standard themes that came with BuddyPress?

    1. WPMU 2.7.1 Beta2 – BP RC2

    2. Yes I have

    3. wp-content/plugins/buddypress

    4. Yes I have using Woothemes Fresh News but modified for homepage and buddypress theme member pages

    Okay, next question:

    1. Did you follow the instructions in the first post here under the section heading “If you are using your own customized themes”?

    Thanks for that but it didn’t help, Its really wierd. In the Dashboard every link shows My Account but if I go to my homepage or my member page it doesnt fully work it only shows log out.

    I will try to figure this out, I really dont want to wipe clean and do a fresh install.

    So the BuddyBar appears at the top of the screen, and shows all items when you’re viewing the admin area, but only “Log Out” when you’re viewing the site itself?

    Yep the admin bar is there! On the homepage (FreshNews) and members page (Standard BP Member theme) the only link under my account is log out and the rest of the drop downs work perfectly. And everything works great when playing around in the dashboard including my account.
