Creating a friend specific search

    Hi all, I would like a search function on the members page whereby a user can type the exact name of another member into a search box and it either finds them and offers to send a friend request or says ‘no user that matches that name’.

    Is there something that already does this, or has someone managed to already?

    I am not aware of such a plugin or heard of anyone that has done this yet. It is an interesting idea.

    I suggest searching or browsing BP trac to see if someone has added this as an Enhancement ticket. If you do not find it listed as such, you can add it yourself!
