Removing a person from a group without “kick and ban”

Someone on my site is having a problem leaving a group. I’m trying to identify the problem right now with the user. I am using BP1.0 and WordPress MU 2.7.1.

Is there a way to remove the user without using the “Kick and Ban” function? I don’t want to ban them.

Not in the BP core. Group members currently have the ability to remove themselves from any groups they are part of however.
