Groups / send invites

I just discovered the “Group / Send invites” function at testbp.org
It is showing a list of my friends, from which I can select the friends in order to invite to a specific group.
I just invited the same person 3 times into the same group (within a timeframe of 2 minutes).
So I guess it should not be possible to invite one person to the same group more than 1 time…..?
Is this a bug ?
