Username issues on buddypress.org and profiles.wordpress.org

Quick question: my username on wordpress.org is tim.moore. When I visit buddypress.org or profiles.wordpress.org, my username is changed to timmoore-1. This change makes it so that I can’t update my profile or my display name, etc. What can I do to fix this?
