I doubt it, but you could be able to make something like that with wpmu.
i suppose with the budget and the time when they opened their service that they use a custom code. btw, wpmu is following general structure protocols, so a lot of other platforms look like it…
I’m betting they built it with Ruby on Rails.
MAN.. I wish they had a BuddyPress plugin that turns my install into a Tumblr like clone.. I especially like the “LIKE/HEART” function and the “FOLLOW” function. that would be sweet.
