Will Buddypress do what I want? Or is it TOO powerful?

    Love some of the ideas behind BuddyPress.

    But I’m worried that it might grant TOO much flexibility to my users.

    Basically, on my WPMU install, I want pretty much everything to happen off the MAIN blog. I don’t WANT them to be able to create their own forums, I want one common forum off the main blog.

    I *do* want them to be able to do private messaging, “friend” each other and so on. And if somebody wants to create a group? Awesome. But create it off the main blog.

    Is BuddyPress too much for my install? Is bbpress on its own, too little?

    Don’t use the bbpress inside buddypress and install bbpress stand-alone, so install it seperate and make it deep integration.
