activity-stream and wp-media-plugins

    In the very early beginning of buddypress it was possible to use normal wp-plugins (like anarchy-video etc to auto-embed videos) in the activity-stream/wire.

    That doesn’t work for some time now (sure the whole architechture of BP has changed).

    Is there a way to make that work? It would be just GREAT and very EASY for the enduser.

    Say a plugin like “shadowbox” is activated and every media-link in the activity-stream would play nicely right on your site. That would be great!

    But is it possible? Or why is it not possible?

    Should be possible by using the activity content filter.

    I don’t get it – sorry… The content-filter, which filters the stream? What does that have to do with it?

    (But maybe my english is so bad, that nobody gets, what I am trying to say :-))
