Group join button not working in group

    Hi, I’ve just, almost finished skinning 1.1.2 and have run into a problem.

    Whilst I can join groups from the join button in the group directory listing, I can’t get it to join using the join button in the group.

    It logs the entry in the database but doesn’t log the user id, so therefore doesnt join, and just shows joined the group without a name… and the join button remains the same even though the notification shows you joined the group.

    I’m guessing that the reason it works in the directory is because it uses ajax.. looking at the groups-loop I can’t see how it calls the ajax function to get this to work…. even hardcoding the user id in bp-groups group-join-group doesnt seem to do the trick…

    anyone got any thoughts as th where this is failing..??? as I’m drawing blanks…

    My error, found that a custom function had broken this action. For some reason even though the custom function had been renamed it was being used by the join button on the group page but not on the directory page. I think it must be something to do with the wpnonce url action. A simple if statement in the custom function fixed this issue…
