User and some admin blog posts not showing up in activity stream

    I’m stumped. I’ve just installed BP 1.2 and I can’t get user blog posts to show up on the activity stream.

    Is there a setting for this?

    – If a user posts to the the WHAT’S NEW comment box, those comments show up fine on the activity feed.

    – If a user posts to their own personal blog, those posts DO NOT show up on the activity feed.

    – If I, the admin, post to my MAIN blog. those posts show up fine on the activity feed.

    – If I, the admin, post to one of my secondary blogs, those posts DO NOT show up on the activity feed.

    Figured it out…

    When a user or admin creates a new blog they are prompted with the following message:

    “I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Technorati, and in public listings around this site”

    The key phrase is: “and in public listings around this site”

    If you select NO, your posts for that newly created blog will not appear on the activity feed. This is true for users and Admins alike.
