Fatal error (with possible solution)

When installing i had a fatal error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 58368 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/linqmedia.com/subdomains/mike/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-groups/bp-groups-classes.php on line 374
But i figured the following. I could increase the dedicated PHP memory or i could place.
ini_set(“memory_limit”,”80M”);
above the script. What you guys reckon?
