just note the changing of the activity/entry.php theme file – otherwise the hovercard script will override all the profile links to gravatar.com within the activity stream.

Excellent… I was just looking at this as an alternative to the CD Bubble Plugin. (Which I like, but hasn’t been updated in a while)… I will try this… and might post some questions as we go along…

I can’t seem to get this to work I added the code to my bp-custom.php however it doesn’t seem to do anything anywhere within the site. – Nevermind got it working, is there a way to stop it from linking to Gravatar profiles without losing the Hovercard?

you would need to copy and modify the javascript on gravatar’s cdn
