Hello,

Is it possible to allow users that creates a groups to join it into a main category of groups on there own?

For example:

James creates a group called: NAME

There are 3 Categorys of groups: category1, category2, category3. James wishes to join category1 and category3, so he simply either goes onto his group then clicks join category > category1 or goes onto the category and clicks join group > NAME.

Something along these lines would be great.

Not in core. Someone has written a plugin, https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-group-hierarchy/, but I haven’t used it myself so can’t vouch for compatibility.

Thank you for the reply. I tried that but it does not let groups join a category on there own I believe…

@elliot-s This bp-group-hierarchy works for my purposes, but I’ve problems with almost every new plugin I add.
