How can groups manage and organize schedules? open to any ideas ~

Hi, I really want to use buddypress, but my site revolves around schedules, what have you guys found to be the best way to incorporate scheduling into a group, really need a good solution for this one. (the two calendar plugins don’t seem to work) Thanks!
