Pugin so users can search for each other based on interests?

Is there a plugin or other way I can set up a form for users to fill out which will match them based on interests? Or is there another obvious way to link people that I’m missing?

As far as I know, there is no automatic matching plugin based on a user’s profile fields.

However, users can manually search for other members.

Use the BP profile search plugin for more fine-tuned searches:
