I have noticed that on this site (buddypress.org) I can go to a members page and post something right there on to their personal activity page (so it works more like a Facebook Wall).

I couldn’t find this in Buddypress settings – is this a plug in that I need to get?

My installation is at http://www.blueflipperdiving.co.uk Using WP3.0 and BP 1.2.5

i believe that is just adding in the @simon.goodchild automatically to the message – (though not a plugin and unique to this site – but could be done via some custom coding as the current method is just ‘mention this user’)

Yep, that does work, but not everyone knows how to twitter

I’ve found this plug-in that replaces The Wire from previous versions which resembles the Facebook Wall. Tested with WP3.0 and BP 1.2.5 and working perfectly
