I hope this is the right place to ask.

Here is my question in story form.

I have a site that I dearly love, but buddypress is making it too hard for me to update mysite with exciting templates that arn’t compatible. I know I know I can use the bp template thing, but even with that it takes extra hours of work to make things look right. With that said is their anyway to make a directory site: example mysite.com/network as the default site for the templates. So that way if anyone on my network from any site access buddypress content it is directed to that new site not my base site. The end result being I can have my main site whatever template I want and when anyone access buddypress content they are directed to this network site I have set up that uses a buddpress compatible theme.
