Hi all…

I’m excited to be a new BuddyPress user. It’s awesome to be able to combine social network functionality with WordPress – my favorite blogging platform.

I do have one issue though…

I can’t get bbPress to work with my BuddyPress install, either through an existing installation or through the built-in BuddyPress install. The website is http://www.echurch.co.za and I don’t have it currently active, but basically I can install it, but then no one can post anything to it.

Can someone please help?

Wow… That’s not good. I really would like the forum capabilities to work, since that would add to the whole BuddyPress experience for our clients…

So, hopefully someone has some advice here…?

Install wordpress and deep intergrate bbPress into it, then install buddypress on your wordpress and presto.
Make sure that your deep intergration with bbPress works before you install buddypress though.

THIS WILL NOT intergrate your bbpress into buddypress. So topics/posts in bbpress won’t show up in your activity stream for example.
