buddypress and caching webserver – problem

Due to lack of resources at my webserver I’m using caching nginx with apache frontend. It works fine with my multiuser wordpress and boost performance for anonymous users 10-100 times or more.
Recently I’ve installed Buddypress – that a plugin I’ve waited for a long time. Except one thing. No one page is cached after Buddypress is turned ON.

Does Buddypress generate some special content for every visitor, even not logged in ?

There are some cookies sent to every visitors
    Set-Cookie: bp-message=deleted; expires=Thu, 22-Apr-2010 12:36:48 GMT; path=/,bp-message-type=deleted; expires=Thu, 22-Apr-2010 12:36:48 GMT; path=/
Are they really neccessary? May they interfere with caching and may I turn them off?
