BuddyPress not showing main blog under “My Blogs”

  • Using BuddyPress 1.2.6 and WP 3.0.3.

The main BuddyPress site (let’s call it Buddy Blog) is not showing up in the “My Blogs” dropdown, so the only way for the admin user to get to the back end is by manually typing the wp-admin URL in the address bar. Once the URL is manually typed, full access to the backend is there, so I know it’s not a permission issue with the user.

Other blogs show up fine under “My Blogs”, complete with the ability to jump to the back end to create a post, etc. (Ex: “Blog 1”, “Blog 2”, etc.)

Any ideas? We’re using the subdomain setup (buddyblog.oursite.com, blog1.oursite.com, etc.). Could it be an issue with the .htaccess file?

    Thanks.

  • Anybody?

I have a different issue in the sense that my main blog is the only blog. This shows in the default BP theme. However, it does not show on any of the other themes.

It is not showing if I put my Settings->Reading->Static Page->Post Page is the “Blog” page.
