Buddypress + Platform Pro Navigation tweaks

    So I am trying to integrate Buddypress navigation items into my main navigation. I am using Pagelines platform Pro with the Platform Pro Base Child theme. I have placed pages into my main navigation. I’d like to be able to keep the hierarchical structure of the navigation items. I’ve figured out how to change the slugs of each nav items for buddypress but I can’t figure out how to change the url to it understands that the page is now a child of the main level Navigation:

    Here is an example of the structure I am trying to create:

    * Community: URL = community/ – this was the activity page in buddypress
    * Members: URL = community/members
    * Forum: URL = community/forum
    * Groups: URL = community/groups

    Is this even possible to have the inheritance? I’d like to have them all as pages so I can tweak the sidebars.

    I’d like to set it up like this site: http://www.h-mag.com/members/

    Though the url structure is not perfect at least it’s showing the user that they are still in the community section.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Let me know if you need more details to help me.

    I achieved this by creating a page I called Members and added it to the main Menu. I then added the links shown on the Appearance/BP Compatibility page to the menu using the Menu/Custom links box. To create a drop down I dragged the link name in the Menu box to indent it below the Members menu tab. You’ll need to enable drop down menus from the PlatformPro/Settings/Headers and Nav window.

    Only the Members page was needed (although there may be another option).

    Good luck
