I’ve spent a couple of days researching this and can find no easy way to do what I’m trying.

Here’s the deal:
I have buddypress set up at http://blogs.blendedcpr.eu

It is using my child theme for the network, so I have that figured out.

However, each blog would be using “Twenty Ten” for the theme.

What I would like to see is something like this:
http://designtrek.com/images/buddypress.gif

This way, you can set up a default theme for the blogs that is apart from the buddypress theme.

Does this make sense?

Either way, is there somewhere in the administration area that I can select the default theme that will be applied to all new blogs?

Thanks, Paul. I gave that a shot. It doesn’t happen to do it for all previously created blogs, does it? Because when I followed the instructions to rename the default, and refresh the blog, that blog came up completely blank, and it didn’t go to what I have defined as the new default. I haven’t yet checked to see if newly created blogs will do the same thing or not, though.
