Hi there,
I am using a clean WP and BP install. The first field in the base section always reverts to the username/loginname no matter what. BP updates all the other fields fine, it’s just the first one that always reverts to the usename. I assume it is a bug?!?

Just going to do a sanity check here as for me it is on default install blank named – so that would be a name you gave it right? Alternatively only thing I can think of at this point (others may have better ideas) would be is there any chance you have a plugin on along with BuddyPress?

Do you have the Profiles component disabled, by chance?

I’ve upgraded from RC1 to 1.5, changed the values in that first field (Name) as an Admin and as a Subscriber and have had no issues. The value persists to whatever content I had entered.
