Can I remove /members/?

  • @jad117

I don’t want to keep the /members/ page where there’s all the links about member profiles, settings, etc…
How can I remove this? If removing isn’t possible, how can I disable it or create a page not found error message or something like that?

    Thank you

Have you tried going to the BudyPress settings in the admin area and disabling the extended profiles?

Yes, and I think a few more links went away after I disabled the updates too(such as activity and @name).

However, I am concerned about the username aand passwords profile showing up under Settings. I’ve created a membership site and I’m not sure whether someone who were to change their password through the buddypress settings would simultaneously be changing their password for the membership site or not (right now I have buddypress only available to the members and they don’t have to sign in separately. Do you think it’s correct that this buddypress password setting is referring to my site’s membership password?

    Thank you.

Changing the password on that screen changes your WordPress password.

Thank your for the clarification. It sounds like it does change their membership password as well. Is there some way I can remove this password change option?
