Hi, I’ve added a couple of extra profile fields (address, post code and a T&C checkbox – all required fields). When I go to my profile page and try to edit my profile, I get the following error:

As the original post is a month old, can you confirm the exact error message? Is it on the same line? Also, what versions of WordPress and BuddyPress are you using? Thank you,

I am also having a similar error and Yes @djpaul it is the same Lines. I am also using custom fields but I have 3 groups, the group having the problem has only checkboxes and is a required field.

You guys have changed/ and or added a function that most likely has any extra space in the file.

I have most commonly seen Headers already Sent out by an extra space in the file. I would recommend copy and pasting the original file from buddypress into the one that you have changed to ensure there are no spaces.

I am getting the same message:

Cannot modify header information

in the send to drop down when trying to compose a message in the front end.

I have not made any changes to the code at any time and don’t even know what file @Virtuali is talking about. This problem happened after I upgraded to the latest version of buddypress. Please help.

Thanks to this great post all i did was replace my function.php then everything is back to normal. This error seem to have occurred when i edited the file…
