Crop tool issue

  • Ok, so this seems to be a rather common dilemma but, as yet, one without an answer. During the Avatar upload process the cropping tool doesn’t show up at all. The crop preview shows the upper left hand corner of the uploaded picture only. It is defiantly due to a conflict with my theme. I went into the header.php and completely deleted these lines of code;

    <script type="text/javascript" src="/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.3.2″>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/jquery.s3slider.js”>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/main.loading.js”>
    <?php

    and the crop tool returned once that was removed. Unfortunately, I do need that code to run a slider bar in the header. Is there a line of code I could change in buddypress to end this conflict? If so which file and how should I change it?
    Any help on this matter would be VERY appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • Anyone have any ideas?

    Ok, I figured out That this line, <script type="text/javascript" src="/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.3.2″> Was the culprit. I removed it and everything works great! not sure what that line was there for in the first place though. Hopefully nothing too important lol!
