As the default buddypress way, the group owner add the group description in text area when creating the gouop. It can be updated from the “admin” on the group page.

I would like to go further to add my customized and dynamic content to the group description. For example, the content shows the most recent picture that the group member took or the most recent location (as google map) the group member went to. Since it shows the most recent picture or map, the content will be dynamic.

I looked at the bp-default theme and buddypress codes, but don’t know what to do. There are some tips online showing how to add a customized group front page. But that’s not what I needed. I don’t need a new tab and a new page for the content. I would just like it to stay on top (the group description religon).
