Is there an easy way (eg. functions.php / bp-custom.php) to remove specific activity filter options from the activity filter dropdown?

There are a couple of plugins I’m using that generate filter options, even when the functionality to which those options pertain is disabled in the plugin. They’re therefore redundant and confusing to my users.

I’m not looking to modify any functionality, I just want to stop those specific options appearing in the filter list.

what plugins are you running? im trying to tidy up the activity stream and have a set filter on the homepage
