I’ve done some searching, and the only solution I could find to this was to modify the language file? Is there an easier way to change ‘What’s new’ to something else? Something in functions.php?

i think it’s – wp-content/plugins/buddypress/themes/default/activity/post-form.php

theres two lines with what’s new, i changed the the second one down and it worked for me.
