Hello,
I run several buddypress communities for schools. I don’t want users (students) to change their email addresses to ensure that I can monitor site activity. In the settings section of the “edit profile”, I used this code edit to remove the change email part: http://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/prevent-users-from-changing-email-addresses/

This works well, except when students try to change their passwords, when the system responds with: “Email address cannot be empty” and the password is not changed.

Can anybody help with this please?
