    Hello,
Please I’ m new to wordpress and buddypress.I’ m running wordpress 3.0.4 and buddypress 1.2.7.
After installing buddypress I realize the menu links at the frontend don’t work (“Oops! This link appears to be broken.” message). Please here’s the URL of the site:
    http://icchouseofprayer.net/
I’ ve researched a while to find a solution before posting this one but I couldn’t find any.I found some solutions and followed the steps in relation to the.htaccess file, but it still does not work.

I would be grateful for a solution.

    Thanks in advance

I can’t get into your blog posts, which means you’ve got a bigger rewrite problem. Revert to the twentyten theme, disable BuddyPress and then fix the rewrite permalinks; best place to ask for / research common problems with WordPress is at https://wordpress.org/support/

Paul thanks for the reply.I’ ve reverted to the theme and disabled buddypress as you suggested. I am working on fixing the rewrite issue and see what happens. I will also check the wordpress forum. I appreciate your time and effort.

    Cheers,
    Douglas
