Group updates in Camino

Does anyone use Camino? Some of my users do and they’re getting an error when they try to post an update to a group’s home page/activity stream. I was running buddypress 1.2.5 (I think, whatever was the highest version compatible with wpmu 2.9.2) and camino was posting all updates as a single word: “undefined”. Users can reply to items in the activity stream no problem. Now I’ve updated to wp 3.0.1 multisite, and buddypress to 1.2.5.2 and Camino is still not posting updates correctly, but now it won’t post anything at all, and says “Please enter some content to post” instead of posting single word ‘undefined’ messages.
