I recently tried to upgrade my WordPress to 3.2.1 and then upgrade my Buddypress to 1.2.10. Since doing that a whole bunch of things went wacky. I reinstalled WP 3.1.4 and BP 1.2.6 and that fixed most of the issues, but now when I go to create a group, I get the group but it puts in 3 or 4 of the same group so it looks like there are multiple groups with the same name, description, membership etc. Also I seems to have lost the ability to password protect a group, but now the private group is by request so that seems okay. Any suggestions?

Downgrading is never a good idea.

Are you using a cache plugin? Ihad similar issue with multiple group creation and cache
