I’ve created a PAGE and would like to assign a TEXT widget to its right sidebar. I don’t want the widget to show up anywhere else. Would anyone care to lend a hand and show me the code and/or give some detailed instruction to accomplish this?

You may wanna look into the “Desplay widgets” plugin at http://strategy11.com/display-widgets/. Lets you decide which widget will show up on which page.
