How do I get my sidebar off buddypress pages?

    Heya,

I just installed buddypress on my website http://www.urban-snapshot.com . What I can’t seem to figure out is how to get the sidebar off the bottom of the page. It crams it into the bottom making everything look messy – I only want it to show up on pages with posts. Is there any way I can make buddypress pages the same as my home page where the sidebar doesn’t show up?

Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

The easiest is to modify the php files in your theme as well as the css files.

In particular, I modified the /activity/index.php file by removing the sidebar code near the bottom of the file.

Blog posts are done by having a template file written without a sidebar also.

Finally, adjust the container and padder css to your liking.

Hey. Thanks for the response. I removed that code but the sidebar still shows up on the buddypress pages.
