How is the search form being inserted into header of the default template?

Greetings, and apologies for such a n00b question.

On a site under development that will be only for directory creation and search, I want to eliminate the more general search form in the header. But I can’t figure how it’s being included (I would have thought it was in header.php, but not.

    Site is here: http://my.globaltobaccocontrolalumni.org

Either some tips on killing the form or even some breadcrumbs to where it is included in the default theme would be very appreciated.

    Thanks.

    div id=”search-bar”

Augh! I was looking for it *above* the logo/tab area.

    Thanks.
