How to add global.js to functions

I have BuddyPress 1.5 and the latest version of WordPress. My theme is Arass and I am using a childtheme called BrownBuddy.
My issue is I am unable to click the post button without being taken to a 404 error, clicking reply or favorite will load a new page up and now work how its supposed to.
I was told that I am probably not loading the Global.JS file, so i was wondering. How do I add Global.js to my functions and is there something else that needs done to.
