How to disable BP sign up and use WP default signup?

    I just upgraded to BP 1.5 and running WP 3.2.1. i was able to do that by commenting out buddypress/bp-core.php line 43

    Is there an exact reason why you want to use WordPress signup rather than the BuddyPress one? BuddyPress sign up is a bit more apt for a BuddyPress site so trying to understand the use case here.

    That file mostly lives in bp-members-signup.php now, but it contains stuff used in more places than just the registration screen. You could try unhooking everything in a plugin.

    Ok I just upgraded BP 1.5.2 and running WP 3.3. commenting out line 43 stops working… any advise/help would be greatly appreciated…
