Incorrect avatars / profile links shown for some members commentaries

    It seems like users who have commented on my blog posts before they registered still are shown as guests, and not with their Buddypress profile links + avatars. I know that these users were logged in when commenting because their comments showed up correctly in the activity stream. How do I fix this?

    Yet again, this is my problem: users who have commented blog posts on the main blog before they registered are still shown with their gravatar instead of BP avatar and post permalink instead of a link to their user profile. I have googled and looked in the Trac, but I can’t seem to find a solution for this
