I am running WP 3.4.2 and BuddyPress 1.5.6

I know there is a function call for `is_site_admin()`

I need to determine if the currently logged-in user is a Moderator of the Group being processed. Is there a similar function call like `is_group_mod()` ?

Found it
`groups_is_user_mod( $user_id, $group_id )`

But now I need to find out how to capture the current group id. Right now I am hard coding it and I don’t want to do it that way.

Does anyone know how to retrieve the current Group ID?

Any experts or specialists or experienced BuddyPress types out there that know how to capture the `$group_id` so I can use it in the following?

`groups_is_user_mod( $user_id, $group_id )`

Is it even possible?
