Need Help with Configuration Since Upgrading

I suppose it’s not a popular thing to ask for real help for free. But, I run a site for a non-profit (that’s truly non-profit) and I’m having huge problems since trying to update WordPress and Buddypress. The site isn’t even loading anymore. I’ve tried reinstalling all plug-ins from scratch, and that isn’t working either. If someone is willing to help, please….?

Here’s the URL, but, like I said, all I’m getting is internal server errors. If you contact me, I can give you access via FTP or any other way you prefer.

Looks like you’re still running an older version of WordPress; try upgrading WordPress to the latest version, then you’ll need to do the same thing with BuddyPress.

Read the following articles for help:

    https://codex.buddypress.org/buddypress-site-administration/upgrading-buddypress/

I actually did update to 3.1 and then updated the database. Everything was good until I then tried to update the Buddypress Links plugin. I received an internal server error in the middle of the update and then tried to do a manual update. That’s when everything shut down. Then, my host (GoDaddy) recommended reverting back to the earlier WP version. (They really are no help when it comes to WP. I wish I’d never hosted it with them, but I’m stuck with it for now.)
